Dolly Parton in Horsens

OK. I did it. I went to a Dolly Parton concert in Horsens, Denmark. Last night!!!!

By chance I was talking to a co-judge at the HTM competition last week and I commented that one of the participants had just done their routine to one of my favourite songs (Dolly Parton's "I will always Love You"). One thing led to another and Tuesday night at 19.12 I had picked up a set of tickets bought through DBA ( a site that sells anything and everything ). 24 hours later we were in Horsens ( Knud, the HTM judge, and I ).

I didnt think I would ever find anyone who wanted to go to the concert - but suddenly all these "secret Dolly fans" were appearing - and were disappointed they werent going with us!!!!And many had told me I would never get tickets - they had sold out within hours :o) Where there is a will there is a way.

Anyway - the concert was absolutely outstanding. It can't be described in any other way. She was BETTER than when you hear her voice recorded. I was not disappointed in any way. And I got my Dolly souvenier T-shirt and mug...
