or subtitle...AIR FRANCE - you SUCK...If any Air France reps are reading this the only positive thing I have to say is your Hotline guys are really cool and helpful BECAUSE YOUR WEBSITE DIDNT WORK OVER CHRISTMAS for changing seats.
First leg home - Qantas - probably the best airline company in the world. We had a 3 hour stopover in Singapore - this is one amazing airport - so much to see and do! Air France to Paris De Gaulle. We had great seats - movies were awful and they served the same salmon and icky salad with mayo we had already gotten on the way over. The flight attendands did not attend and they were the direct opposites of the Qantas staff. I think we will leave it at that. We arrived at PDG and then the fun started. We had precisely 60 minutes between flights. Ours arrived at 6.25 - the flight to Copenhagen left at 7.25. We arrived at Passport control, along with 1100 other people ( from 4 overseas flights in all ). 4 open counters. Well done - how's that for people planning???? At 7.05 we get through, have to cross to another terminal ( running ) and arrive there for security. The lines were ridiculously long. Anyway to cut a long story short - we arrive at the gate at 7.27. Our saving grace was that they couldn't find our bags to unload them so they let os on the flight!!!! Now how lucky is that???? I will never, ever, EVER, whine about latecomers to a flight again! Arrived in cold murky Copenhagen on time, went to work for a couple of hours, then picked up the dogs.
A week later I am getting into Danish time and adjusing to the weather. Home sweet home!!!
