The Swedish Kennel Club, Yvonne, Monica and Rolf had done a fabulous job and the setting ( although in 2009 ) was perfect for Nordic Championships 2008!!!
Emmy and Whisper came in 2nd individually :o) Soda came in 6th ( and 2nd best Danish dog after Whisper ) which I can not be more pleased with - she was brilliant. I think every picture at the prizegiving had me smiling from ear to ear. The Danish Team got an honorable bronze as a team - next year we will kick **** :o)
We had a good trip up - a stressful training due to our difficulties finding parking amongst other things. But come bedtime our problems really started....the room was HOT and I was sick - coughing and spluttering - and no-one except Biscuit and Spooky got a wink of sleep all night. Emmy, my poor room mate, and I looked not very fresh the next morning. Trust me, we didnt feel fresh either after no sleep!!!!
A good breakfast with plenty of coffee helped slightly and off to the hall we went. And from then on we were flying!!!!
The routines were amazing and the competition tough. The videoes will be online soon and I will post them. Congratulations to all the winners!!!!
