Last week I went to stay in the UK to puppysit the litter of four Boyz - Carson & Zen puppies. All I can say is they wore me down - in my attempts to wear the down!
I taught class Monday night and set off Tuesday to the UK. Bernadette met me at the train station and back at their house I got my instructions, we played with the pups and did a bit of agility.
Wednesday morning was pancake morning - thanks Dennis - and Team Obay set off to France. My mission started!
I took them out to play, fed them in the car, went for a car ride, let them out etc....By the time Wednesday night came I was already a bit worn...
Thursday morning I started the same routine all over and then Sonia came by to sit the puppies for the evening. I had been fortunate enough to get tickets for the Idina Menzel concert at the Royal Albert Hall. The concert was AMAZING - although I now know I will NEVER be able to work in Lndon and have to travel by the Tube during rush hour. That was crazy stuff....
Friday morning Sonia and I drove down with the puppies to meet Bob for a late breakfast/early lunch. We took the puppies for a walk to the beach but it was pretty cold so we couldn't have them out for long. Friday evening Richard came by and we looked at my freestyle routines and entertained the puppies.
Saturday Karen came by with her crew including Todd & Yaz - and we did a bit of agility and had lunch. Puppies were re-charging quickly so they got another trip in the car and plenty of training and playtime. Inbetween I tried to follow the results of theWorld Agility Championships on Facebook.
Sunday morning we drove up to an agility show near Horsham including puppies and saw Sonia run Skipper in his jumping class. It was lovely to see what a great job Sonia has done with him as he came to her as a rescue. Sunday was spent trying to follow the results on FB - not an easy task, but it could be done...
CONGRATULATIONS to Bernadette and Zaz for winning Bronze individually!
Zaz is homebred by Bernadette out of Zen and Tazz. All three are Agility Champions,
and have competed on their country's World Team.
