This past weekend

This came close to being a perfect weekend.

Friday evening I did a training day at Lyngholm dogschool. The evening was brilliant and I really enjoyed training. I havent been motivated to teach lately but this was a great start to the weekend.

Saturday I went to Vi Med Hund Messen - a dog expo - with stands, vendors and a stage with all sorts of presentations - vets, agility, policework, standup comedy etc. Emmy and I did freestyle ( Spooky, Soda, Robbie and Whisper ). We had 2 slots. In the morning slot Soda was brilliant and Spooky was BAD. Well he had fun and barked his way through Indiana Jones. 2nd slot Soda was tired but did a good performance. Spooky got his punishment for the morning and did his new Heelwork instead of freestyle - a bit of improvisation as it isnt quite polished yet. He was BRILLIANT and I was really proud of him and the way he worked. Soda's claim to fame was that she got a backstage training session with our last years X Factor winner Martin :o) She also did a backstage demo for Basim, one of the other X Factor participants - who also performed on the stage, just after us.
We met One's daughter N-Joy at the show. She is a lovely sable sheltie with her daddy's attitude :o) there was no denying who her daddy is!

Sunday we went herding - Soda, One and I. We had a great day - the weather was perfect.

One barked a lot and did do a few sensible rounds. He only has eyes for me - but was not afraid of the sheep, or getting betweek them and the pen. Soda was lovely and was allowed in the pen straight away. No barking or carrying on - just got down to business basically.

This morning I slept in late - what a great way to end a great weekend!

Looks like you had a great weekend, glad to see that One didnt let Todd down by being anything but handler focused at the herding :0>
