On the 24th of October we went to the yearly fun evening arranged by Anja & Sofie at Lyngholm club. What a wonderful evening. I did some judging and worked Soda and Spooky. Soda in her Sailor routine and Spooky in his new HTM.
The prizes were amazing - and amongst tonnes of food I won a Christmas tree ( which I can pick myself :o) ... ) and a beautiful Flora Danica necklace. I also won 6 or 7 cheese graters...now I really dont think they are all mine - the pile just kept kept getting bigger every time I turned around. I wasnt in bed until LATE...
Next morning at 4 I was up and left early for Århus. Apart from forgetting my driving instructions home ( yikes ) the 2,5 hour trip seemed forever...but I screached my shortened version of " Hallelujha" for about 250 km and made it safely to the venue. I was booked to teach 2 training days. Day 1 was Freestyle/Heelwork to Music. Day 2 was Intro to Clicker training.
We were indoors in a riding hall so there was plenty of space and the facilities were great. Some handlers were repeat from day 1 to day 2 so I had to plan for not too many repeat exercises.
Saturday evening was spent with Gitte and Thorleif and of course their lovely daughter Maria. Maria loves doing freestyle with my dogs so she planned a small routine with Soda and did it both days. I am not sure if I will be invited back though as Gitta and I spent the rest of the evening after dinner on the internet and looking for stuff on CleanRun, Doggonegood etc...I should be on commission for those companies :o)
