We were up before the crack of dawn ( 4.30 am ) to get to Crufts nice and early. I had slept fine - and Soda had amused herself during the night by spending most of it sitting and staring at Bernadette.
We arrived at the NEC at 7.00 AM and found the benching for the agility dogs. My job today was grooming for Bernadette & Zen who were running agility - which I think I did really well: held Zen, carried stuff, updated facebook, read out text messages, took photos and made funny noises for the pro photographers...
Before 8 we could go into the Arena and do some training. The Arena was smaller than I remembered and the carpetting excellent. We did 10 minutes of play training which was really good and productive. Happy me :o)
At 8.30 Bernadette had her first run - a clear and the class won - a great start to the day. I saw the Freestyle Finals, more agility, did a quick shopping run, saw some of the border collie judging, more agility and suddenly it was 6.00 pm and time to go home for the evening.
Tomorrow I will be watching the Heelwork To Music Finals. And also the agility were a lot of friends are competing!!!!
