I have had a constant, mild headache for the last 3 weeks due to the pressure changes and "popping ears" - but it seems like that is a thing of the past :-D All I can say an experience I don't wish to repeat at any stage in my life.
Today I took a day off to get my todo list down to a minimum. Some of the chores were outdoor chores - but as the local farmer decided to spread manure this morning - outdoors was not an option. I cleaned out a couple of drawers in my desk - and found a pair of glasses I had when I was a kid. For fun I tried them on. Hmmmm. Opened a book. And actually could see a tiny bit clearer. Maybe I need an eyetest?
I drove into town - and popped into the local "Thiele". They had time to do a test :-D The lady was new to the store and wasn't familiar with the "manual" equipment - she had only worked with electronic equipment. Off we went. I was to identify spots/letters etc. No progression. After 10 minutes it turned out she was adjusting the wrong way which explained why the stuff was getting more and more blurry :-D She got help from her colleague and 5 minutes later we were all set.
I only needed glass for reading so have ordered them :-D So not really broken eyes.
