What are we up to....and short recap of 2012

Monday night I teach a Puppy Class and a regular obedience class.
Tuesday night I attend obedience classes :-D ie my dogs do...

Wednesday night I teach a Foundation Agility Class and have 2 agility classes in which I run my dogs in.

Thursday night is Obedience night - 3 classes indoors. Indoors is great as you do not get wet or windswept.

Friday afternoon I have the priviledge of training indoors in a carpeted agility hall with 2 training buddies. This is extremely efficient and fun training. We set up 3 smaller courses and then run a full course. We usually manage to train 2-3 dogs through small sections and full courses in the 2 hours. And we are all exhausted after the 2 hours :-D

And all that after I have been to work during the day :-D

So far this year I have been pretty good at cutting down on full teaching weekends. I have had a few training mornings/afternoons which gives me more time in the weekends for other activities such as our not-so-healthy-but-fun-Brunch-Club :-D

And a shortish re-cap of 2012 so far....

January:

Anja Christiansen & I held a Rally O seminar - the evening before we drove up to MyDog.

Next morning we left for MyDog, Gøteborg. I competed in Rally, judged Freestyle & HTM, and competed in the Agria Freestyle Finals - we finished 4th which I was extremely happy with as Soda had not trained anything for the better part of 2 months. We also did a couple of demos in the Main Ring which gave us many lovely comments throughout the weekend :-D

The Crazy Christmas Cabaret - can't be without it! Due to travels we saw it January - amazing as always!

I finished the month off with a couple of Rally O seminars.

February:

First weekend in February I attended a couple of Foundation Agility Courses (Chip & Trouble) with Gitte Hoffmeister. Brilliant!

2nd weekend in February we went to the Kennel Club Fredericia International Show and performed in the main ring before the Best In Show Finals.

During the next week Anja & I held an Advanced Trick Seminar during the evening. And in the weekend we had the Border Collie Club Show where I organised & judged the Rally-O competitions. I should have competed in Obedience with Soda but had to give that idea up as I hadn't trained anything really :-/

The last weekend in February I held a couple of Rally-O courses.

March & Crufts will get a separate post :-D

So what is going on for the rest of 2012 ??? Well until August....

Ken Ramirez Seminar in Munich
Agility competitions for One, Soda and Trouble. Which means I have to commit to teaching Trouble to weave :-D
A trip to California
A trip to Bornholm
Freestyle & agility Sheltie Camp in Sweden
Tom Coen (Macdega Kennels) Breed Show & Seminar in the Danish Sheltie Club
And a handful of seminars.

We are going to be BUSY!!!!!!
