(Thank you to Obay Productions for the agility clips...)

We had a great weekend - best of all was meeting everyone I had been mailing with but not met yet...The weather was fantastic and the showgrounds were very impressive. I have realised that I havent taken too many pictures so I have had to "borrow" from other websites.

I set up the camp for Lisa and myself - and my DKK tent in the middle so we still would be dry if it rained. I had borrowed a tent/mattress from Andreas and all was reasonably easy to set up...but packing the stuff in the same bags again was another story!!!! ie. mission impossible hahaha...I also realised that I probably would not be needing half the stuff I brought with me :o)

The KC Int Festivak was probably the biggest show ever held in the UK - and let me tell you - -I have walked and walked and walked. And walked. I even got a blister which I never have had before from walking :-)
Spooky got an ear infection just before the show which required treatment from the vet - it took focus off getting me to the doctors for my cough which I still had :-( But Spooky's infection was clearing up nicely.
My goal before the start of the KC Festival before my first run: to qualify a dog for Crufts 2008.
Tazz: Had a clear in the KC Open Jumping. He pinged the A-Frame contact in the KC Open Agility, but all in all he qualified for the Final ( top 10 ) and finished 6th. And got a Crufts Invitation!!! He had some really good runs with myself and his borrowed handler, Kizzy's dad Andy. Tazz has not done a whole lot of agility since the World Championships in 2004 so I was extremely proud of him!
Ticket: Had some really good runs but no clears :o( But she is an easy dog to travel with and she enjoyed her trip.
Spooky: Had a beautiful run in the KC Open Jumping (12th place) but I let him down bigtime in the agility - he got E'ed in the beginning by putting a paw on the A-Frame - and the rest of his run was perfect. So no qualification for the final - and there went my Crufts chance. I was so dissapointed as I know Spooky has it in him for the Crufts Pentathlon. But...our other results from the weekend gave him an invitation HOOOORAAAAAAYYYYY! For the Nations team I put in a good run for Spooky in the agility - I had to prove to myself that my Crufts invitation was deserved...Spooky had lots of really good runs and we did a couple of sit/stay training excersises to save Spooky for the more important runs.

One-derful: On the Friday One knocked a bar in the starters jumping, and had a clear in the agility. That was enough to qualify us for the Starters Final on Saturday. One had a nice run in the final and came in 3rd - top 4 going to Crufts!!! One also was put on the Nations Team Rest of The World 3 (ROW3). This was a real outsider team - but...we got a 4th in the jumping, a 2nd in the agility and 3rd overall in the Nations Cup...!!!! One had some really good runs and placings during the weekend.
I saw Bailey ( Monty/True puppy ) competing live with his 9 year old trainer/handler Daniel. They were amazing and have qualified in multiple events for Crufts!!! Bailey's brothers & sister were competing ( Zen, Chi, Lucky & Timmy ) and did really well, and Tazz/True puppies - Hex and Indy. And I met the three Zen/Tazz puppies - Kizzy, Oz and Zoe!!!

We had the best camping set up at the show :) and were warmer than those caravaners!
