We have arrived in the UK!!! After a 26 hour drive we arrived safe and sound. The trip was uneventful and the ferry ride was a nice break. I took a cabin so I could sleep – and I watched Shrek 3 at the movies.
The dogs were pleased to arrive and be let out of the car…!
Friday we washed and groomed dogs – Spooky was the only one who got away with a foot groom – and no bath.
Saturday we drove 1,5 hours to Aylesbury. We arrived a bit late so I did 3 courses in 5 minutes – speed course walking :o) Lisa parked the car and Bernadette sent me to the right rings. There were 8 of them as opposed to our 2 rings in Denmark. One course walking at the beginning of the day – and that's it!!! In Denmark they split course walking during the day – and people whine about having to have more than 1 course memorized at a time. The great thing about the English agility shows is that there are no tents around the rings so it's really easy to watch the classes you want to see….! Ticket had 2 eliminations and 1 run with faults. One had a beautiful agility run with a refusal – and a stunning jumping run where he got the weave entrance but had a hard time collecting himself for the 2nd pole – so he got 5 faults. The spacing between the poles is less here so my dogs will need to work on that during the week. Tazz did a speedy but E'd jumping run. Spooky started off with an E, but the redeemed himself with a clear jumping run ( with a 27th out of ca. 300 dogs. Our final run was an agility 6-7 with Spooky – he did a beautiful run and knocked the last bar L I knew it came down because of all the aaawwwwssssss from the ringside.
I saw Tazz's daughter Hex running – she is amazing!!!! And ofcourse Monty's daughter Zen. They both did really well at the show. Lisa & Chi had really great runs, but small things kept them from the cleanruns.

This morning we went for a walk with One, Spooky, Ticket, Pax and Hob-b. The dogs had a great time – and Ticket took it upon herself to roll in the BIGGEST SMELLIEST cow patty she could find. Both sides, on her back, in her harness AND collar - and on everything she brushed against :o)
