There's always a first for everything.

Since the beginning of February I have had a cold & cough which I havent been able to get rid of. The flu lessened but during this past week the cough has gotten worse :-(   So for the first time EVER I had to cancel a weekend seminar which did not make me very happy. Apart from the fact I had to cancel a longwaited trip to my good friends Gitte & Thorleif, I really hated letting down the people who had entered the seminar.

So this weekend was spent just hanging around the house - really strange to have a weekend with no plans.

Last weekend Saturday we went to a surprise party for Pia ( kennel Foula ). It was a really good afternoon in great company and I think after Pia got over the shock she enjoyed herself too ( ever seen the birthday girl try to leave her own party??? )

Sunday I went to the Border Collie Club agility show in Vallensbæk. I was running One. The first run was Agility Class 2. We had a nice run but I was convinced we had a fault. In the "Best of 2 Jumping Opens" I had a refusal in the first run and in the second run we ran past the last jump and finished with an E. Both the jumping runs were nice and flowing though. Just before I went to run the jumping class 2 I was looking at the result list from the Agility 2- and saw I was clear and top 3 which gave us a leg :o)  !!!! I was so happy about the leg that I got an E right in the beginning of jumping 2, but otherwise the run was brilliant. Instead of taking One to class I have worked him twice a week at Hasselgaard for short training passes - and that has really been beneficial for both of us. I really enjoyed my agilityday and will definitely be doing a lot more agility in the 2nd half of this year.
