Trouble kept licking Soda's mouth area during the past evening - so when I had a look, her left side was all swollen & blistery around the lips top & bottom. The only thing I could think that she had eaten other than her regular food was "yummies". The dogs each had one, of two different brands. I know what I originally gave Soda but its usual for them to swap them so I am not sure if she tasted both. None of the other dogs were affected, but its definitely some sort of allergic reaction. A trip to the vet left me 900 kr. poorer :o) but a lot happier. Nonetheless my demo dog at this weekends seminar in Puppy Foundation will probably not be Soda.
Last weekend I started by spending the morning at Sorø Hundevenner watching agility & their training. During the afternoon I drove to Næstved to visit a friend's mum in the hospital. I drove home at 7ish - then packed ready for the DAF-Cup Freestyle competition in Copenhagen. Early Sunday morning Emmy stopped by and we drove in one car up to Copenhagen.. The show site was just opposite where my mum lives in Copenhagen - in the middle of a park. The weather held out - and I had a great day. I co-judged most of the classes except Freestyle advanced which I competed in with Soda. Soda was brilliant - and I wasn't too bad either. We won the class with excellent results - what a great start to the season!!!
Yesterday Whizz's first litter turned 10. Happy Birthday to Meghann, Toto, Hera and Twist :-) Last week Whizz herself turned 14. She is doing really well for her age and keeps everyone on their toes ( especially me as she steals everything she can find and eats it - whether it is edible or not ).
