Cruizin Day 2- Nassau

Good morning Nassau!  I shot out of bed and up onto the deck to see the ship arrive at Nassau.

Unfortunately my still camera had a difficult time ajusting to the heat so no great photoes of us sailing in. It was a beautiful hot ( and humid ) day and the water is crystal clear.

I discovered that if you forgot what day it was you could look onto the elevator floor where there was the sign of the day :-D

We had breakfast at " The Windjammer" - a buffet where there was everything under the sun.

There was a short walk into the town. We were off the ship at about 9.30 and Nassau was slowly coming to life. We had not booked an excursion as the walk into town was reasonable. The first part was a market with lots of little stands where they sold everything under the sun. The walk up the main street was more exclusive shops - especially jewellery and clothes. I bought a couple of beads for my bracelet and then stopped for a cup of coffee before going back onto the ship.

The movie theatre om the ship had Puss In Boots 3D which we enjoyed in the afternoon  :-D

I had a late lunch at the Park Cafe on Deck 8 - they did salads and sandwiches, and other lighter lunch items. I then headed up to the deck with a book until the ship left port. I met up with my mom and we went to one of many quizzes they held on the ship at different venues and different themes. We did not win :-D

We were booked in for a show in the evening - a comedy show. After dinner I crashed and never saw the comedy show. Cruising is hard work!!!!
