We left Copenhagen Friday morning at 6 am. Our final destination was Fort Lauderdale Florida, but we made pit-stops in Amsterdam and Detroit.
As my mom has had a hip replacement 3 weeks ago we had the luxury of transportation in between the flights as we had very short layovers. Vroooom :-D
At Fort Lauderdale we were met by the airport shuttle and taken to the hotel - Hollywood Beach Resort and Cruise something or the other fancy. The hotel was nice - we had a studio appartment with a little kitchen, facing the water and boardwalk ( or Broad Walk as it was called here ). Thank goodness for airconditioning as it was very hot & humid on arrival.
I found a small Taco diner where we got dinner and then we crashed. Shopping day coming up - so I needed to be up bright and early!
