Friday morning we drove down to visit Helene ( my stepsister ) and her 3 girls: Emma-Leah, Lillian and Eve. We had a picnic lunch and then drove down to the dam and had a walk around. The weather powers are really making up for the lack of heat/sun the first week I was here. I now look like a cross between a tomato and a piece of bacon.
This morning ( Saturday ) we had a late breakfast and then took a long walk down on the beach. The water was amazing clear and warm - the sandy beach was white and although the temperatures were creeping up to thirty - the beach was practically empty except for a few dog walkers.
