I still have not gotten over jetlag although my meticulous plan to overcome it sounded good in theory but not so in pracise.
I got up late and took a ride into Rockingham. It was chilly ( 25 degrees ) so the beach was deserted! I found some postcards and wondered why all the shops were so empty. A half hour later I found a mall. It was stuffed with Christmas shoppers which answered my previous question about where everyone was! I find it hard to get into the festive season in the summer - but not the Australians!!! And I couldnt really tell of the Santa in the store having his picture taken with the kids had a natural red shine or if he was boiling to death in the outfit he was wearing!!!
We had a BBQ this evening then I made everyone go out for a walk :0) The parrots were absolutely fantastic - the sunset was beautiful!!! Tomorrow I WILL GET UP BY 9 AM. Perhaps...
